Weaponised Unmanned Ground Combat Vehicle
A tracked unmanned combat platform that brings direct fire support forward without putting a crew in the seat.
Displacement

The problem
What's failing today.
Dismounted infantry routinely run into threats that need vehicle-mounted firepower to defeat, but bringing a crewed fighting vehicle into that fight risks the crew and a high-value asset for what is often a single engagement.
The proposed solution
What the concept does.
A medium tracked UGV built around a stabilised remote weapon station, with the protection, mobility and sensors to fight forward of dismounted teams while every operator stays under cover.

Key design features
How the concept earns its place.
Feature · 01
Stabilised remote weapon station
A modular turret carries a medium-calibre cannon, coaxial machine gun and anti-armour missiles, all stabilised for accurate fire on the move.
Feature · 02
Layered protection
Composite armour, active protection and a low silhouette let the vehicle absorb hits that would defeat lighter platforms.
Feature · 03
Hybrid-electric drive
Silent-watch mode lets the vehicle observe and engage without the acoustic and thermal signature of a running engine.
Feature · 04
Tethered overwatch drone
A small tethered UAV gives the UGV elevated sensors and the ability to see and engage beyond the next ridge.
Potential applications
Where it earns its place.
- Direct fire support for dismounted infantry
- Counter-armour ambushes in restrictive terrain
- Forward screening for crewed combat vehicles
- Static defence of fixed positions and chokepoints
Future development
Where it goes next.
- Loyal-wingman pairing with crewed armoured vehicles
- Counter-UAS turret variant
- Lighter air-deployable derivative
Platform evolution
Turret & Role Variants
The chassis is one platform. The turret, sensor fit and software profile change to specialise the vehicle for the fight in front of it.
Variant · 01
DFDirect Fire Variant
Baseline configuration with a 30 mm cannon, coaxial machine gun and ATGM rail for direct fire support of dismounted teams.
Key features
- Stabilised medium-calibre turret
- Programmable airburst ammunition
- Anti-armour missile carriage
Operational benefits
- Puts vehicle-grade firepower forward without a crew
- Defeats threats that would pin or break dismounted infantry
Variant · 02
C-UASCounter-UAS Variant
Air-defence configuration with a high-rate cannon, programmable rounds and a dedicated radar for defeating drones at short range.
Key features
- High-rate stabilised cannon
- Compact 3D search and track radar
- Networked early warning feed
Operational benefits
- Closes the short-range air defence gap around manoeuvre forces
- Hunts the drones that hunt friendly armour
Variant · 03
ATAnti-Tank Variant
Missile-heavy configuration that swaps the gun turret for a stand-off anti-tank missile launcher.
Key features
- Top-attack ATGM carriage with reload
- Elevated sensor mast for hull-down engagement
- Low silhouette for ambush positions
Operational benefits
- Holds armoured columns at risk from concealed positions
- Trades a cheap UGV for a much more expensive tank
Variant · 04
ENGEngineer Variant
Combat engineer configuration with a dozer blade, mine plough and breaching charge carriage in place of the turret.
Key features
- Front-mounted dozer and mine plough
- Remote breaching charge dispenser
- Obstacle marking system
Operational benefits
- Clears routes under fire without a crewed engineer vehicle
- Frees engineer crews for higher-skill tasks
